L.B. Foster Supplies $28M Steel Piling Contract for Major Florida Port Project
L.B. Foster Awarded $14 Million North Span Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Rehabilitation Contract

L.B. Foster announced that it is providing new roadway decking and other supplies for the rehabilitation of the north span of New York State Bridge Authority’s Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. The $14 million contract includes 311,000 square feet of steel grid bridge deck panels manufactured at the Company's Bedford, PA facility. L.B. Foster participated in supplying bridge deck material in 2013 during the rehabilitation of the bridge’s south span which required 430,000 square feet of grid decking.

L.B. Foster works with Houston Metro Rail Operations Center on Expansion Project

L.B. Foster was awarded a supply contract to provide concrete ties for the Houston Metro Rail Operations Center (ROC) maintenance and rehabilitation project.

The Company’s concrete tie facility in Spokane, WA manufactured the 5,200 CXT® Concrete Ties required for the expansion of the Houston railyard as well as rail rehabilitation, replacing all existing wood ties.
 
L.B. Foster Launches NEW Low Temperature Traction Enhancer, ALLEVIATE® LT

L.B. Foster is excited to announce the commercial launch of a Low Temperature (LT) version of our proven ALLEVIATE traction enhancer product for top-of-rail use. ALLEVIATE LT has the same high-performance traction enhancing characteristics as ALLEVIATE but with a lower freezing point of 3°F (-16°C). The ALLEVIATE family is designed to be used in all locations where low adhesion could be an issue, avoiding operational and safety issues such as station overruns, stalled trains on ascending grades, or speed restrictions imposed during autumn leaf fall.

L.B. Foster Announces the Appointment of William M. Thalman as Chief Financial Officer

In February 2021, L.B. Foster appointed Mr. William (Bill) M. Thalman as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective March 1, 2021. Mr. Thalman brings to the company considerable experience from a successful career in finance and operating positions.
L.B. Foster Promotes Two Senior Business Leaders

In March 2021, Gregory (Greg) W. Lippard, the Company’s Vice President of Rail Technologies & Services, was promoted to Senior Vice President, Rail Technologies & Services, and William (Bill) F. Treacy
, the Company’s Vice President of Infrastructure Solutions, was promoted to Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Solutions. This change follows L.B. Foster’s recent realignment of its business segment structure earlier this year and report directly to John F. Kasel, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
